Hi. I've just tried to capture some video from our old digital tape camcorder using PD10. The previous version of PD I had could do this as well as import newer digital files from our new digi camera. This version doesn't seem to have the option to capture direct from the old camera - is this right? If so, anyone know a way I can get the taped footage into PD? I wouldn't have updated one of our older versions if I'd known this woud happen! Grrrrr

Any help appreciated.

Exactly how were you capturing Video from your Digital tape camcorder before? Details.

Do you have the drivers for your Camcorder installed? Are you using the Firewire connection?
Have you setup the Capture Module in the new Powerdirector?

What is the make/model of your older digicam? HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.
