RAM 16 GB
NVIDIA Geoforce GTX550Ti
PD Ultra64 9.0.0.3305
Sound onboard - NVIDIA & Realtek controllers

Some music files not transferring properly to the timeline.
Play bursts of static.
Affects both mp3 music & Smartsound.
Can happen during editing, sometimes the edit preview plays ok, then reappears on the DVD.
Any help appreciated. RobertA101

Hi Robert

Welcome to the volunteer forum :D

This has been well documented in the past.

Since the release of PD9 it has struggled to handle mp3s .

I have raised this this issue several times but to no avail. Some work, some don't, there is no logic behind it.

The best solution is to convert your mp3s to the WAV format.

A great free converter is Audacity - Google it.

Happy editing :D
