Edit After Effect Template...

Greeting everyone,
Is there any way to edit a After Effect template without having to use Adobe program?
Is there a 3rd party program out there that can do it?
Did some searching on forum but no luck, even goggled.

Hi Mike -

You've probably already worked out that you need AfterEffects (CS3+) to open .aep files. To my knowledge, there's no other way to open them for editing.
