I've used Adobe Premier & Roxio Creator for years and they have something that PowerDirector is sorely lacking: The ability to better organize the hundreds of files that can be in a project. It is such a simple thing to make it possible for all of us to create new folders for each chapter in the media content area. They would then be so much more manageable & easier to sort through. How can the developers overlook something as obvious as that? Haven't they ever built sizeable projects themselves or explored what the competition has to offer?

Great question.

PD11 does have a limited folder option, for storing music, video, close-ups, photo files etc etc. In fact any file that you want.

You can click and drag your library files into these customised folders.

See image below. You can sort the folders by clicking and dragging them up or down
