I just tried the dual monitor feature with less than stellar results. Both Monitors at 1920x1080 60Hz
My video card is a Nvidea GeForce GT 430 1 GB memory.

1) would a second card help?

2) Is it possible to have full review quality on the external monitor and a lesser while editing?
W/o switching settings?

Just what is your 'less than stellar' problem?

I have 2 monitors same resolution as yours and the second monitor works as it's meant too, it will only display what is on the preview screen main program, you cannot at this time use it for editing as a stand alone it will only be a clone of preview.

Subject to your lack of satisfaction a second card may be a wise investment or a waste of money!

Thanks for the reply David. I would get a second card only if the second monitor would display the video in it's full resolution.

Other than that I find PD11 a pretty impressive piece of software.

Nice dream while it lasted.

Happy New Year
