PD11 Ultra always starts full-screen - can I change

I find it rather cumbersome that PD11 Ultra always starts in full-screen mode. That requires two additional clicks and drags every time I want to quickly render a video stream.

Dies anybody have a hint how to modify the start-screen size?

Thanks
Bernhard

Hi Bernhard -

There's no way I know to have PD remember its workspace size from previous sessions. It always opens in full screen. I understand what you're saying... programs like browsers, graphics & word processing remember their previous sizing. PD doesn't.

Interestingly (maybe?), other CyberLink products - PhotoDirector, ColorDirector & AudioDirector - all do!

Cheers - Tony

Hi Bernhard,
I have, on a one monitor setup, needed to reduce the PDR11 interface and would have preferred the workspace I'd chosen, been retained. Larger monitors give a great deal of space and PDR11 should accommodate the change editors want.

I'll mention this thread to CyberLink and see what happens.

Superb Dafydd,

Many Thanks.

PD11 has a few glitches of similar nature - each small but annoying in sum:

E.g. PD11 should remember the last profile used for a particular format. Specifically with custom profiles I need multiple extra steps until I can render - select 'Custom', then select my profile then render.

Another one:
PD11 clutters the target directory of a rendering process with three working folders. Cyberlink should consider keeping those folders in the working directory specified.

Bernhard
