Is there a way to force a screen repaint ? Syncing audio & video track rendering issue

I'm experiencing some rendering issues while synchronizing an audio & video track.

When I move a clip by dragging it, the audio waveform does not repaint, even though the clip actually was moved.

I am forced to use the scrollbar at the bottom to move forward one screen, and back one screen.
Then I see the updated position of the waveform.

This is a very annoying workaround however. Having to move all the way to the bottom of the screen, and then back to the clip, really kills the workflow.

Short of getting Cyberlink to fix this repaint bug, is there any key in Powerdirector I can use to force a refresh of the full screen (like F5 in the browser) ?

You can make Powerdirector repaint the screen by switching to another Room and back to the original Room.

The sound waveform display is a sometimes thing. I have not found a sure way to get Powerdirector to show the waveform every time.

Well, for me it shows it every time. It just does not refresh it when the clip is moved.

What I noticed is that the first time you add a clip to the timeline, PD analyzes the entire audio in the clip before it starts displaying the waveform. It can take a while. After that initial analysis is done, PD will start displaying the waveform.

Guess I will make a video screen capture of the refresh bug and send it to Cyberlink.

Switching to another room is just as bad as going to the scroll bar and scrolling back and forth.
The problem is that one has to move the mouse, and thus the carefully chosen position of the mouse pointer - over the clip being moved - is lost. I was looking for a keyboard hotkey that would allow me to preserve the mouse pointer position. But I guess there is none.

I found that just clicking on the scroll bar at the bottom without moving it forces the repaint. I do have to move the mouse, but at least all the clips on the screen stay in the same place, and the waveform repaints. Better than scrolling back and forth. FYI ...
