Hey guys,

I just produced a 4 minute video for the first time since installing the latest PD11 patch. I used the crop feature with key frames, I used Color Director to Fix/Enhance, I used a couple of Fades, and I used a couple of Titles.

The raw video is MOV. I initially went to produce a MOV file and was told it would take 37 minutes. After about 30 minutes it was 'stuck' at 19% or at least I thought it was stuck. So I cancelled it and changed the production to an MPEG file and had Hardware Acceleration toggled on. Long story short, it took one hour and nineteen minutes (1:19) to produce.

Prior to the 2321 Patch, it might have taken 6 or 7 minutes.

Anyone else having the same problem after installing the 2321 Patch? ~Tom~

Kmot to me it seams like it slpw down some to me to. I produce a video mp4 out of the GoPro shoot at 1080P and had edited 45 minutes of video down to 17 minutes 59 second and produce it to mp4 1080p 13000 bitrate. It took it 26 minutes to do it. It only had a few transitions in it. It seam like before it took it about the sametime has the video was long. I use just cpu no GPU.

I did go back later last night and load the project last night and add video enhancement to it and it took more time but I don't remember how much. I'm using a i7 860 8 GB of ram.

I re-did the video. I cropped it, I used two fades, two titles, and this time added two special effects. I also de-linked the audio and then enhanced it in AudioDirector.

However, this time I did not use ColorDirector, instead I used the Fix/Enhance built into PD11.

I produced a 378MB video of around 4 minutes length. This time, it took only 10 minutes to produce. That's more like it!

Perhaps ColorDirector has an issue?

I think anytime we make adjustments to the color and stuff it has a lot more work to do when producing.
