Hi. I have Power Director 9 de luxe, Windows 7, 64 bit, and my interest is in making videos using a Panasonic HC-V700 camcorder.
I have had problems burning to DVD-R discs, and after taking advice I now use DVD+R, which seems to work very well.
I am now able to burn AVCHD format camcorder footage to blank DVD+R discs. I use the pc burning facility rather tan an external burner.
My remaining problem is that I can burn only to a blank disc. If I burn even a small file and then try to burn another file I get a message to insert a blank or re-writable disc. I have read, however, that DVD+R discs can be recorded to until the available space is used up.
I would be grateful for any help or advice. laurence1to3

Hi Dave 456. Thanks for your reply and for the Wikipedia link, which I have just used.
I'll have to keep my DVD+R discs for large files which will fill them.
I'll try DVD+RW and see if I can burn to it and whether i can burn more than once to it.
Why are even the simplest things so complicated? And as for complicated things, I just keep my eyes closed.
Thanks again laurence1to3

i use rw discs but have the same problem.

What do I have to do if I have a small file on the disk and I want to add another one.

PD says, as soon as I try to do this, that the disk is not empty and would I like to delete everything already on the dic, which is of course the last thing I want to do.

Any help would be appreciated
