Hi everyone,

since a few days I have problems to play an AVCHD (.TOD, MPEG-2, Bitrate 28.00 Mbps, Res. 1920x1080, 25 fps, 16:9) video from the timeline directly... PD 10 is rendering and always stops when it has reached the end of rendered. Before you ask... I have OpenCL and Hardware-Decoding activated.

Last week it was playing everything without having problems and without rendering. This week I opened the project, that I wanted to continue and it did not play anymore without rendering. Even when I start a new Project and put a single clip in the timeline, it starts rendering (green field above clip) and stops when reached the end of rendered part, continues rendering, then continues playing.

I have high preview Quality (Hohe Vorschauauflosung) enabled, NOT HD-Quality.

My system is a desktop computer, Intel Core i7-2600K CPU, 3.40GHz, 16 GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, 64 Bit

I did not change anything in System or Program. Before I could even put titles, transitions, Particles and all the other stuff in the timeline and it played directly from there without rendering.

Hopefully someone knows about how to fix that problem... thx in advance

Hi
its coz your graphics card has been updated im afraid.
Go to control panel/system/device manager and open display adaptors.
open properties(right click on your graphics card) and select roll back driver.
Thats it
cheers

I too have an issue playing from the timeline.
However I have an AMD Radeon 6870 video card. I have tried the newest AMD driver(12.10)....no luck. I did a complete removal of all AMD software and went back to 12.8....no luck. I have installed the latesst PD10 patch prior to the video drivers.
Any suggestions? Windows 7 64 Ultimate
i7 920 CPU
12gig Patriot ddr3 1600mhz ram
XFX Radeon 6870 1gig ram(12.10 driver)
Dell 2407WFP-HC monitor
