Hello,
Why am I having trouble watching my finished produced videos when I have tried in both the MP4 format, as well as MPG2? With the MP4 output file, I tried watching in both Itunes and Quicktime player, and the video is so choppy you can't even watch it. I then tried rendering in MPG2 format, and tried watching in Windows Media Player, and it said it couldn't play back the format! Huh? I thought MPG2 was a Windows playable format? Why am I having so many issues with my output files? Thanks.

What player will play what format is dependant on Codecs either in the player or installed on your computer.

VLC should play just about all videos.

Windows Media Player will also if you install a Full Codec Pack.

If your computer is a 64 bit computer, you need to install both 32 bit and 64 bit codec packs.

I like the K-lite Codec packs. I use the Mega pack.

If the video is choppy, it may be your computer does not have enough 'horsepower'.
Video drivers should be up to date from the manufacturer.

My advice, if you want the shortest way, I'd say use VLC, and on top of that, it's free. No need to download the codec packages and stuff.

Yes, VLC is free and will play most videos.

The Codecs are also free and enables Windows Media Player to play most videos.

It both cases you must download something. VLC and/or the Codec packs. I use both.
