Whenever I import a .TS format file (listed as a supported file time in CLPD8 ) and insert it into the time line, one of two issues occur:
1. After splitting a part of the TS file OR moving the split clip to a different portion of the timeline (before or after another video clip already in the timeline), I get the "Cyberlink Powerdirector has stopped working" message and CLPD8 crashes.
OR
2. No visible error takes place what-so-ever while editing, but upon saving the project file and re-opening it at a later time, all of the TS file format clips used in the timeline are lost and replaced with a "0,0,0" alias, black background clip (what appears to be a black color board).
Because of these issues, I am left with no choice but to wait until the very end of each project before using any TS files (so that I can produce the clip without saving/re-opening the project file and risking the aforementioned problem no.2.
I've been using CLPD8 for about two years now and this issue only seems to occur with TS files.
If anyone could guide me a way to potentially resolve this issue, I will sincerely appreciate it.
