HI ,
I AM NOT REALLY NEW TO POWER DIRECTOR 9 ,BUT HAVE DEVELOPED AN INTERESTING PROBLEM.
I TRIED TO BURN A DISC WITH SEVERAL SHOWS ON IT AND SOMEHOW THE PROGRAM COMBINED 2 SHOWS INTO 1 MENU BUTTON. IT NOW PUTS THAT SHOW ON EVERY DISC TWICE, THE 2ND TIME WITHOUT AUDIO.THE PROGRAM ALSO CRASHES EVERY TIME NOW WHEN I TRY A SEVERAL SHOW MENU. CAN'T FIGURE FOR THE LIFE OF ME HOW TO FIX THIS !I AM SURE TECH SUPPORT WILL ALSO BE THEIR USUAL NO HELP!
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?

How did you add the shows to the DVD?

Did you add them as chapters on the timeline?

Or did you add them as Titles on the Content tab of create disk?

Some screen shots of your Timeline and the create disk module might help to see what is happening.

The version and build of your Powerdirector also please.

Hi Carl,
Power director 64 Ultra V 9.00.3305. The shows were added in the create disc menu. Somehow 2 shows show up as 1 show and will not burn properly. I unfortunately tried deleting the chapters, which deleted the timeline for my one show. It was not hard though to redo ,as it was short. This all happened right after the OS decided to apply some compaibility settings to the program.

Did you have one to those shows in the timeline also?

If you added a show to the contents and also had that same show in the timeline you would get a double show.

There are two ways to add Titles:
1. Add just the movie File. (No Chapters)
2. Add a Project file. A project file can contain Chapters.

If there is a project on the timeline, it gets burned to the DVD as the first show.

You remove all items from the timeline and just go straight to the Create Disk module and add the videos/Projects on the content tab.

Hi Carl,
Whatever I did probably will never happen again. Perhaps a glich in the program. Heard back from tech support who always says it is an audio and video driver, which is BS ! When I built this system I got all the latest drivers online. Naturally there seems to be no way to challenge their advice since I have never yet once been able to respond to their emails ! While I like alot of things with this program, Cyberling tech suport is not one of them !
Thanks for your help.
Ben
