Default duration on individual custom titles

Is there any way to set the default duration on individual custom titles? For example, I want one custom title to always have a duration of 5 seconds, but a different one to have a duration of 3 seconds. I find it cumbersome to always have to set the duration each time for one of those titles.

In the settings under editing is where you change duration, but it is generic for each file type, not for specific files, so you can set images to, for example, 8 seconds, but that is for all images. You can set effects for 10 seconds, but that is for all effects. __________________________________

I have some text and effects timed time-independent standard, but I do not know how to fix it, worked with some but most often he gets default time and not with the time determined.

I know about the global settings, but I don't want all my titles to be set the same duration. I want some 3 seconds, and I want others 5 seconds, when I go to drag and drop them onto the timeline. It's a convenience thing yes, but something I wish PowerDireector had.

So how hard is it to set the duration when you drop the title on the timeline?

Select the title, Click the Duration button and set the duration to whatever length you wish.

It takes all of 2 seconds.

I do set the duration I use most in the preferences. But is is easy to change the duration when you drop the title on the timeline.

See example below. During editting, let's say I decide to add a custom title somewhere in the middle of my timeline before other titles already on a track (picB1.png). Now let's say the default title length it was set at was 5 sec, but I only want this particular custom title to be 1 second in length. After setting the duration to 1 second, look what happens in picB2.png...all the titles afterwards get shifted left and messes up the order of things

So what are my options here?
1) Going into preferences and changing the default duration before inserting the custom title?
2) Adding a new track just for that one custom title?
3) Manually shifting all titles afterwards

Like I said before, it'd be nice if you could override the default duration on titles to have their own default duration for convienence sake.

Add a track to put the added title in so that you do not mess up your current timing.

If you added the new title on its own track no timing will change.

Any time you add something to a existing track everything to the Right will shift.

But if you add the new title to its own track nothing will move.

Remember the order of display, higher number track overlays lower number tracks.

Which is great for something that needs to be on top of all the other tracks like a title. As long as the background of the title is transparent, nothing happens except the title appears.

Powerdirector has up to 100 tracks, so adding one or two more is of no consequence.

Often when adding objects in the timeline is desirable that everything moves automatically.
PD11 is more flexible for dealing with this.
An option to change the tempo of a text without messing with everything else, is to act on the left edge, see the video
