How did this happen I wonder? I have been a Platinum Member for quite some time. But tonight I saw that I was a Bronze, er Platinum, er Platinum Bronze member!

When you attained Bronze status, you got a free download. Later you reached Platinum status and got voice activated support for 2 months. Congratulations for reaching Platinum. Bronze is shown for history's sake. You cannot combine Platinum and Bronze to create a new element, as that has already been patented. Let me clarify this a bit.

I have been a Platinum member for several months, as least. And I have bought the Director Suite recently. A week or so ago when I was checking for updates my member status was still Platinum, and no mention of Bronze. Then yesterday I logged on and it showed that I was both as the attached photo shows. I think it is a glitch. ~Tom~

Tom:

I have the exact same issue. A few days ago, and since then, I have been appearing as both a Bronze and Platinum member. Like you, I think it is just a glitch. So you're not alone - Cyberlink is not picking on you!

Have a great day.

Hi Tom

I was a Gold member and I'm now a Silver member

CL says my purchases are between $1 - $40

I reckon CL bases the Member Status on the amount of 'stuff' you have purchased per year maybe.

Great observation though

Tom: They must have fixed something - I am back to being just a Platinum member.

From what I understand, Neil is right - your status is based on the amount purchased per year from CL.

Have a great day.
