I have placed an image in a title and then a txt box inserted over the image.. No problem in general, however I have had several incidents when I can't place the txt on the image . The image is always "ON Top" Is there any way the order of things i.e. send back, bring fwd etc. can be done? Oldshep

Hi

Put the image on a higher track than the text.

Hi,
Track dominance: Each track is numbered and the higher the number the more dominant it is. Items placed in Track 1 for example would be overlayed by image/video/title files placed in Track 20.

Moving the Effects track to a new position has the same result and the overlayed Effect can be position so it dominates all tracks with the exception of the fixed tracks.

Titles can be placed in ANY video track as well as in the fixed Title Track. A Title is an image file with motion. Title dominance is alterable and other media can overlay it if the title is placed in a video track, just as any other track placement can be. The Title Track is the dominant overlay track.

Hi Oldshep -

The same principle of track dominance Neil & Dafydd are talking about applies within Title Designer.

If you have brought an image into Title Designer, you can re-order the tracks by dragging & dropping. This changes what's "on top".

Here - there's an image, a title & a particle effect. Whatever's in the higher numbered track is "on top".

Cheers - Tony
