System crash Vista

Hi,

I am running power director 6.0 on Vista home premium and experience blue screen when the software loads and is requested to capture.

Basically once the usb capture device is activated, the PC shuts down with
an error screen suggesting problems with USB port.sys

I have un-installed and re-installed the software suite and drivers, but still no luck.

Blue screen notifications are a bit beyond my knowledge, anyone have an idea about what might be wrong?

Regards,

Ger Roe - Dublin, Ireland.

Please repost with PD6 version,
some more details about your system, and the type of capture you are performing.
I use Vista, only occasional crashes. I capture from a Canon Elura 100 mostly, no issues.
Your repost info will help the techies address your issue.
