I have recently been editing videos, but when they are finished and saved, I have a problem with the picture quality. The audio plays fine and smooth, but the video is only images and plays in fragments of the actual video, no smooth video. You will see a frame of a scene, but there is no motion and the audio continues normally. Then, after a few seconds, the frame will change to a later scene and the audio continues normally.

What is causing this and how can I prevent this from continuing to happen?

They are being saved as .m2ts videos. When I go and save the video as a .wmv, it plays fine, but the picture quality is not as good.

One other thing, when I save the .m2ts and go back to CyberLink, I will view the video that it has to show in the Produce section of the program and it plays perfect. What's causing this video to keep saving like this?

Any help would be some help.

Thanks,
Sean -

Are you seeing the freezing in Powerdirector preview window?

After you have produced your video, you should exit powerdirector and view the finished video in an external player. Windows Media Player will play m2ts files if you have the latest K-Lite codec pack installed.

The VLC player will also play m2ts video (not as well IMO).

Check your free space on the C drive, you must have about 60 GB free for Powerdirector to work smoothly.
Check you Video Driver also, it can cause all kinds of video/audio lagging problems.
