PD 10 install does not recognize PD 9

I have PD 9 installed on my computer, but when I try to install PD 10 it does not see it. When I type in s/n of PD 9 it does not recognize it and closes install operation. Customer Service sent me another link to download again, which I did not different browser. Same results.

Have tried install with PD 9 running, and closed. No difference.

Any thoughts from the users?

What version of Powerdirector did you upgrade from?

There is two upgrade options. upgrade from a Retail/Downloaded Powerdirector or upgrade from OEM (bundled) version.

They are not compatible with each other.

PD 9 was download from cyberlink as single product.

So which option did you choose for the Upgrade?

If you downloaded from Cyberlink, that would be a Retail upgrade.

Got it all set now. Had to get authorization code for PD9 so I could install PD10.
