How do I disable refresh rate changing?

I was asked once to change refresh rate for better picture quality. However, it's changing my refresh rate incorrectly. I don't see any settings to reset it back to the default. Is there a registry setting I need to change? If so, what is it?

Am I the only person on earth who is looking for how to revert this setting? I already tried changing the below value between 0, 1, and 2. I even tried deleting the setting entire; but PowerDVD still changes the refresh rate. It doesnt even change the refresh rate correctly (changes from 60hz to 24hz, then back to 60). All I want it to do is revert back to the installation settings without having to uninstall the the whole app and reinstall it.

I already looked through the Q&A and known issues. I have also looked through the online manual. I have also asked this question via the Cyberlink Support ticketing system.

Just to be clear, I have enabled a user-defined setting to change the monitor refresh rate to 23.976Hz/24.000Hz via a PowerDVD popup dialog box (immediately after PowerDVD asks for enhanced mouse support). All I want to do is disable this feature. I already know that the "Reset All 'Never Ask Again' in Dialogs" setting is a known missing feature.

If this setting change be changed via PowerDVD User Interface, all I want to know is how to revert the setting via registry. It seems pretty drastic to have to uninstall the entire software and user-preferences and reinstall just to reset this setting. I also think this question and respective answer should be available on the support forum Q and A.

ModifyMonitorFrequency change this from 1 to 0

I just stumbled upon the very first BluRay disc to prompt me for this through PDVD, took me a few seconds to find the correct setting in the registry.

Not to necro a dead thread, but I am necro'ing a dead thread.

I have PowerDVD 21 and ran in to the same issue. The path still works in 21, HOWEVER, the value needs to be changed to 2 now. I thought it a bit odd as I don't associate 2 with boolean, but when I changed to 0, it would revert back to 1. When I put it on 2, it stopped refresh rate changing and didn't ask again.

Thank you @darth3pio for putting me on the right path to solve the issue!
