Can I nudge a video to straighten it?
[Post New]
My video, of a lake, isn't level. This might work for land, but with water it looks as if the lake will pour off the page if it's tilted. I need to be able to turn it just a smidge... is there a way to do this with Power Director? I've taken it off of Snap but it still will only turn a lot and not just a little. Thanks!

Hi nightowl -

Yes - this problem has come up before.

It was Adrian (I think) who alerted the forum to a quirky little thing. Select the clip > Go to Modify > Click on Motion Paths (centre tab)... now

Click the green cross (for custom path) & rotate your clip. For some reason, doing this frees up the rotation.

You'll need to resize it a bit too, so there are no black corners.

Hurry up, before that lake drains!

Cheers - Tony

Super Ynotfish! I now have saved the lake, only I can't get it to resize so the black in the corners don't show. It won't let me drag the image larger to cover that space. How do I get it to let me do that?

Thanks! Dustie

I got it! Yahoo..the lake and the video saved! Thanks tons...hope I can remember this next time I need it. I think I remember asking this question before..you'd think I'd learn~!

By the way...does your user name mean you fish? I'm an avid fisherman and am putting together videos of each of the lakes in our area (we have 7 of them). Dustie

So that's why you wanted to save the lake!

Eating? Watching? Videoing? Yes! Catching? No. Each to his (or her) own.

Glad you got it sorted. Thanks Adrian!

Cheers - Tony
