How do I create frame highlights. I have created several picture frames and want custom highlights to go with them. When I create the highlights and import them they all lose thier color and go a pinkish/reddish color.

Any suggestions?

Hi Eddie -

Could you please attach an image of the kind of thing you're after? Maybe you could attach one of the "highlight" images you've made too.

There are lots of ways it might be done.

Cheers - Tony

Here are two attachements. One is the frame the other the highlight. The highlight does not show up in the blueish green color, it shows up as red. I have tried this with numerous frames.

Here, I didn't get the colours showing up incorrectly. Your aqua coloured highlight displayed correctly.

The attached video shows it in situ, with the highlight image faded in & out over the frame. It also shows a higher resolution frame & highlight (white). Your .png files are very low res.

If you like, I can pack the project & post it here.

Cheers - Tony

Please do so.

Are you saying I need to save in a higher resolution?

I should have clarified that this is for a menu frame...

Oh - you're referring to menus. OK - forget what I said... that's a different kettle of fish. The packed project would be of no help to you in that case.

Did you create the menu yourself? Are you modifying an existing one? Which one?

Cheers - Tony

Both. I have created new and modified exsisting. No matter what I do every highlight comes out a reddish color.

To make a highlight I use photoshop. Essentially I use the frame and fill it with a color. I then insert a square and delete the background leaving just the edges of frame. I save as a png file.

This is driving me nuts....

I appreciate all the help you have given me so far.
