Why does PowerDirector keep trying to access my WebCam?

You probably should allow Powerdirector to connect to your web cam.

Powerdirector has a Capture module that is probably detecting your web cam and wants to load the driver for the Web Cam as a capture device.

Try the Capture Module, you should see a window that says something about Detecting Devices. PowerDirector does capture video from a web cam if one is available.
