Hi,

I have a 3 camera shoot we did ages ago which I still need to edit.

Can this be done without drama in PD10?

I have a 2 monitor setup.

I noticed on a search that a 2009 post mentioned using Pip. I am new so not sure about Pip.

I have read virtually every Google search result to my multi cam editing but still not sure what is the best way to do this in PD10.

Most answers are for previous versions.

Has Cyberlink done anything in 10 to make multi editing easier?

Thanks

oz

I use XP pro - plenty of power, memory and drive space.
PD 10 latest update
Source files are avi from a HD camera tapes.
Need result to be high quality altho HD not neceassry.

PD10 does not use PiP tracks. It now has multiple video tracks. I edit 3 or more camera shoots very often. Put you main video in track 1. Split out the parts of the other tracks that are not wanted. If you need to see track one, just disable the other tracks temporarily. __________________________________

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I messed around with it last night and did that also resizing the preview screen to see all action at once.

The shoot is a concert with a main singer so I have front, left and right side views and need to cut quite quickly sometimes.

I have done it many times in other programs but new to PD.

I like PD so far with single tracks as it is quite quick in basic functions that i have only tried.

I have to now try and get my head around the trim and cut.

BTW - See you're in Tennessee. Live in Nashville for near 9 years in the 70s.. Loved it!

I am 2 hours from Nashville. Been here a few years and I do like the Nashville area a lot, but not so much where I am living. __________________________________

Oh that's no good! There are places that I have felt like that as well over the years.

I lived in Hendersonville for most of the time, also near Donelson..
