Hi All again
If I was to use croma key on let’s say the color “blue and get rid of all the blue I didn’t want but I also want to get rid of “red” am I right in thinking the only way to do this and save the deleted blue effect is to “produce” the track and import it back into the project and then do the same with “red”
If I keep doing this will I start to lose quality.
Thank for your help.

Hi Des

You are spot on about the Chroma Key

As for the quality query - always Produce using a profile as close to the original (source) file profile as possible - this will minimize quality loss.

For example, if your source video files are AVCHD 1920x1080 24 mbps, then choose this profile in the Produce mode.

[b]To check your source file profile, just right click the video file and select Properties
and make a note of the file type, size, audio etc.

In PD you can also make a custom profile.

You could use the "Replace Color" effect (under Style category) to replace the red with the blue. Then use the Chroma Key to get rid of the blue. You can do all that in one pass. Agreed. I just played with Replace Color and I was able to get Croma to work.
