I installed the upgraded verion of PowerDvd 12 Ultra. After this installation Something went wrong on my Avid Pinnacle Studio 15. When ever I try to open the video files with MKV it start to Configure the Studio 15. Befor the power Dvd installed on my system there was no problem which means power dvd is doing some damage or correpting the other software.

I want to unistall the power dvd from the system and I did it. It went away from the control pannel and is no more listed. But in the system Power Dvd Icon is there and is working too.

System has no problem to uninstall other softwares.

Win7 64 bit

They Send me a CLCleaner2-PowerDVD_12.0 which I run as admi. It open up a note pad and do nothing.I tried to troubleshoot and thinks that it is not for win7 64 bit.

IS THERE any way to run that program or uninstall PowerDvd 12

Try downloading it again, maybe your file was corrupted. This is the direct link, mentioned in the "=> MUST HAVE READ before posting to PowerDVD 12 Forum <=" thread.

BUT

Iam not able to uninstall power dvd ultra12 because it correpted my avid Pinnacle Studio which is always loking for the configeration if I try to open .MKV file with PowerDvd.

Thanks for sending the CLCleaner and I want to uninstall first to run that program.
I uninstall through controll panel and its gone from the list but it is working still (No more in Control Panel)

well this is quite strange ... uninstaller of windows and CyberLink Cleaner Tool must have done the job. Anyway if nothing works and you wana remove powerdvdv, then manually delete its files from "Program Files" folder of windows
