Hi Guys, I wish to make a slideshow in PD9 all quite easy, however, when I use the MOTION preset, the default time that the image is on show is about 5 secs, I would like to change this to say 8 secs, I have tried the obvious ie changing the duration time etc, but, when I click finish after working on MOTION with customise, the time goes back to the default 5 secs, any ideas please ?

You can not change the duration on the built-in slide show templates.

You can custom build slide shows and control most of the elements.

You just can not change the default setting in the built-in slide shows.

Hi tangovictor -

No - you're stuck with it. That aspect of the slideshow templates isn't customisable.

Just make your slideshow - produce it - drop the produced file in the timeline - select it & go to Power Tools > Video Speed

Cap'n Kevin's tutorial shows you how... http://youtu.be/dMqUCY2rjJA

Here's a table showing the default image durations for each slideshow template http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/22570.page#120729

Motion is about 4 seconds per image, so if you double the overall duration of the produced file, you'll be in the ballpark.

Cheers - Tony
