I have been using Powerdirector 8 for 2 years, I can easily record from my usb tv video capture card (EZ CAP), and in the same time listen to mp3 music and do other sound stuff. This comes by default settings.
With Powerdirector 10, I cant mute the recording only, it only gives me option to mute all the sounds on pc.
Any solution how to disable only audio playback during the capture process?

Along with the Powerdirector 10 purchase, did you also upgrade your computer to Windows 7?

There is an option to mute just Powerdirector in Windows 7.
If you have a speaker Icon in your Notification area by the clock, click on that speaker.
If not you can add the button in Control Panel > Notification Area Icons.

That brings up the Volume control, on the Volume control is a Mixer Button.

Click the Mixer Button you get the Windows Mixer. What shows depends on what is active. In this case I have Powerdirector in the Capture module and Windows Media Player playing a MP3 file.

You can mute any one or all if you click all in turn.
Unmute by clicking again.
