Is it possible to create output that has a custom resolution other than the few that are offered when one can create a new profile ? For instance 800x450 in an MP4 ? Or am I facing here a limitation of the trial version ?

Also, why can I not select a bit-rate lower than 6000 Kbps ?

G'day Siggy -

The number of times this precise question is posted should be an indication to R&D that a more flexible user interface is needed. At the moment, to fully customise MPEG-4 profiles it's necessary to edit the "Profile.ini".

You will be able to create a profile that's 800x450 @ < 6MBps. Here are some instructions... http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/22363.page#119571

No - it's not a restriction of the trial version. It's just how it is!

Cheers - Tony

G'Day Tony !
Thanks, that works, I have now created one (from the sample "Nature.mpg") with a min bitrate of 800Kbps and resolution of 800x450. As long as I only need a few different output settings this method is acceptable. I hope they will make this more user-friendly in the future. If you look at the output options for e.g. "AVS4YOU", this is what it could be like.
Cheers,
Siggy
