Hi PURVY67,
I'm sure you are unaware of forum etiquette, please use lower case then using this forum. Higher case/Capitals are the equivalent to shouting. Members do not need to be shouted at.

Please view the tutorials. http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/19405.page#101779 You can carry out both tasks, you've asked about, in PD10

PURVY67 -

You may also like to look at this tutorial, which deals specifically with video cropping. It was made using PD8, but the basics are just the same & can be applied in PD10.

Here's a similar use of PD's Video Crop in PD10 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLZUyFsNqEc&list=UUOACBwbwESBSUqoCzaNkj6Q&index=9&feature=plcp

Hej!
Must say I have fallen in love with PD10, it is a fantastic program besides these two things, you can not videocrop-free, the others I do not like is the menu system.

Hej då

Barry -

I'm pretty sure Kenneth is talking about cropping that is not restricted by the project's aspect ratio...

There are ways around that:

Using a mask...

Reshaping/reproportioning the clip...

P.S. These clips were shot in Lyttelton, a small port town in New Zealand, prior to the last round(s) of earthquakes. It doesn't lok like that now!

Tony, Tusen Tack for the lesson, here on the Forum to develop knowledge as fast as with PDToots tutorials. I am very happy that I wrote my last post or I would have maybe been sitting in my ignorance with PIP Design.

Again, Tusen Tack.
