Can I freeze frame the last frame of a video?
[Post New]
I've made a short moon video and would like to end it with about 5 seconds of the last frame of the video and then fading that frame out. I know how to fade, but is there a way to "freeze" frame the last frame someway?

Thanks! Dustie
I'm still working on it....

Hi Nightowl,

Have you tried the right click menu option? Then once generated, adjust the freeze frame's duraton to suit.

BTW. Remember, that the Snapshot tool/option (located in the transport controls under the preview screen), is also another way of generating a freeze frame of your scrubber's current position. But does so, without automatically adding the snapshot/freeze frame to your timelines. Click here PDtoots for a collection of PowerDirector Tutorials and Tips

Open PD
Look at your keyboard > right hand side > Print Screen/Sys Rq button > press it
Now open up your Image Editor program
Go to Edit > Paste as a new image
OR it could be
File > open new file
Edit > Paste

Save the image as a jpeg/jpg file

On some of my clips the "freeze frame" is not avaible when I right click on them, on others it is available. They are both mp4 format. What is the problem?

Snapshoot works correctly.
