I bought PowerDirector 9 just one week before the release of PD10. Now I have to upgrade, but I don't want to loose again. Do you have any idea when PD11?.

Thanks

Hi pmalbec,
Immediately after (within 30 days) of purchasing PD9 you should have contacted CyberLink (so long as the purchase was from CyberLink's website). Had you done so, CyberLink would have refunded you the purchase or provided you with the upgrade to PD10 at no additional charge. You'll need to check with CyberLink support as policies do change within companies.

PD10 is the present version.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Obviously I didn't looked for a compensation and/or automagical upgrade. Yeah, my mistake.

PD10 is the Present Version, but have you any news (including rumours) of when, maybe, to have the 11?, Or do you think we are going to have 10 at least a year?

Thanks,

Paul

PD11, ??/????

I'm actually still waiting for features I purchased in my PD2 to work as advertised, SVRT for one. I bought into SVRT, SVRT2, SVRT3, Intelligent SVRT, supplied examples for development and I and others still have audio/video blips during transitions in and out of SVRT video regions.

I’d still like to get that massive video high I thought I'd feel when this statement from my PD2 manual is actually achieved.

Straight from my 2000 manual:
"What makes PowerDirector the megastar of its industry in one quick flash is its ability to save precious producing time because of its Smart Video Rendering Technology (SVRT)………And adding SVRT wonderful features that simply enthrall, amaze and stupefy including:"

Collins English Dictionary: stupefy - make stupid, torpid; deprive of full consciousness.

I bought PD 9 in June 2011. Less than a year there will be 2 editions. Pinnacle also renews its product without significant improvements. This is why I left. I would not want that PD had the same trade policy.
You buy it again if you buy a mature product.
It would be helpful if users could make suggestions. Eugene W 10 64 , pc Dell XPS 8000 - core i7 2,8 GHz--ram 6 MB--GEFORCE GTX 1050TI 4GB - SSD 256 + 2x630--area Pal
