Hi there,
I bought a new pc with a built in cyberlink camera and just tried it but I was ask if I wanted to upgrade the software which I did and paid for it through Cyberlink website, now when I tried to make a video of myself playing guitar I get the picture ok but the sound is distorted and echoing, I tried to play with my sound setting but It does not make any difference. I am open to any suggestions.
Many thanks,

Richard

Hi Pascall,

YouCam is a software program that uses your webcam (hardware) to run. Your webcam and its microphone is hardware that was built by your computer manufacturer.

The audio settings in YouCam are limited (just selecting your mic/audio source), so you should be looking at your sound card or webcam hardware audio settings.

Best bet would probably be to contact your computer's manufacturer for assistance since this is probably a hardware issue.

Regards,
David
