Figured I'd post on the forums instead of spending hours searching and possibly feeling unsure at the end of the day. I plan on buying CyberLink PowerDVD 12 PRO edition. Will that be able to read my blu ray discs on my blu ray disc player that needed this software? I called a local computer shop and they directed me to go here.

You need the Ultra Version and the most expensive one it is.

Hi Jessie,

According to the CyberLink web site, the Pro version does play back Blu-ray Discs.

It just does not have all the features available.

They obviously changed it then , but there was a time when you needed the Ultra version.
