when i adjust the volume in the player, the volume also in the system changes.
the sound automaticly gouse up and down with the sound card in the windows.
can see the volume control in the status bar also follows.

how to get around this? only what the volume inside the player only to be changed when i adjust volume.
and not the windows also.

and isnt the possible to ad on a subtitles to the, lets say an avi file yet ?

in vlc there is that possibility. if you lets say download a subfile and then you can open the sub in the vlc.
there are even a option to open the sub in the payer itself .

but cant fint enything like that in the powerdvd. seems like the subs will bee there if the movie on the file already have the sub included.

i am no trying powerdvd12.

and have win.7 64bit.

for the subs if they got the same name as ur avi file and ends with txt, srt, sub or what ever format u wanna use idx and so on they should come up by default.

i will say use CCCP for avi bcs it does have that support.

This is a basic feature and it should be somewhere on the audio options at PowerDVD. Interesting findings. This is the first time I encountered about the audio volume changes that would also affect WIndows volume.

The Phone Support costs money though.

When you contact them by form, it can take up to a week or more to get a response, but they always do respond.

When I was running DVD12, it behaved the same way, but in my case I was using it through my Denon AVR and my projector so it didn't matter.

It's just the way it is.
