Can I remove something from each frame?
[Post New]
Hi again all...I took some recent video of a burning building and have some good stationary video. The only problem is in the bottom corner is the front end of a truck that has the name Johnson Fire Dept. I want to use it for video stock, but the clip has to be neutral (no names or logos). If it were just one image I could easily remove the name. Is it possible to do that in PD9 on the first frame of the video and then somehow have it populate the change to each frame somehow or am I asking too much of this software? Dustie

You say statonary video, was the camera steady or nearly steady so the truck is always in the same place? If so simply put a blur over the logo. If it does move around some, the method still works, you just need to add some keyframes to adjust the blur and have it move.

It doen't move around much except for wind blown movement. Twas a pretty windy day and it blew enough to cause some minor camera shake.

I'll try the blur idea and see what I can come up with. Thanks! Dustie

Jeff offers you a great solution! A Sensor blur.

For an easy step by step tutorial on how to do this sensor blur, you might want to pay a visit to this link on the PDtoots Power Director tutorial channel. Cranston created this and describes the steps to do this in your video project.

USE THE CROP TOOL

OR DOUBLE CLICK TRACK AND OPEN PIP DESIGNER AND 'DRAG' AND ENLARGE AND REPOSITION VIDEO

Cubby, that Pip designer and reposition trick is just what this video called for, since the truck was just a bit of the bottom right corner of the image. Thanks! Mission Accomplished. Dustie
