Hi,
I may have found a 'bug' in menu designer and Smart sound.
I am running PD10 Ultra 1029b patch on a Windows 7 premium 64bit, i7 2600 3.4GH processor, and geforce 560t graphic card Accelerator.
I have had success with the program in all respects except that when I create my disc Menu and remove the default sound, it gets removed from the Main Title, but on the 'Titles/Chapter' menu it is still present (which I don't want). Has any one else had this problem?
Also got a notice that there was a Smart sound update and installed it from PD10, but don't know if that caused my dilemma.

Smartsound updates are related to the library of music and pricing. In order to use SS music in all levels of your menu, you must apply to all in the menu module. Removing that cursed music already there may or may not be necessary.
If SS does not work properly in the menu system, as in no sound, you can make a separate project timeline, using just the SS track you desire, and create a sound-only file. That new file can be imported into your target menu just like any other song file.

Bug, I don't think so, that's how one incorporates different music on the Root menu versus 'Titles/Chapter' pages. Sounds like you just removed it from the Root menu and that's all so it will still play on the 'Titles/Chapter' pages. Highlight the Scenes menu and then the Enter Icon, (enter arrow) and remove from the other pages if you wish.

Hi,
OK so I jumped the gun LOL...
I usually just ignore the music playing...JL_Jl..
I am just getting myself familiar with the Menu designer and utilizing 'Chatpers/Titles' in the disk creation and didn't realize you had to select the chapters menu and remove the music from each.
Thank you and I am glad it is not a bug....just a novice user thingy..
Jim
