HELP! All my clips turned green!!!

I have a huge problem. Out of nowhere my entire 1st timeline has turned green. At first the clips were split into a green half and a regular half, but now they are entirely green. It's like a transparent green that covers the entire clip but I can still see what the clip is. I noticed that the clips from my 2nd timeline were still normal, so I tried moving all my 1st timeline clips to the 2nd ones but they were still green.

I was hoping that it was just a preview problem that would be fixed once I rendered it, but no, the final film turned out green too. I've tried restarting the computer too, but that did nothing.

The only saving grace is that the clips themselves in the media room are still normal, but all the ones on the timeline are green.

Can anyone give me some advice? I'd really hate to start all over again since I've put so much time into this. Thank you for your help.

IrishRoo12;

I suggest the following actions that may help:

1. Click on the word POWERDIRECTOR in the upper-right of the program and tell us the BUILD (Mine is 10.0.0.1129b)

2. Go into "preferences" (the little gear icon on the upper left) and make sure Hardware Acceleration is turned ON...if it is already ON then turn it OFF. Reboot and try again!

3. Go to the Intel site and get new drivers for your video card, Yours are a year old!

4. Add RAM to your laptop (your Inspiron N4010 supports up to 8GB). Since your GPU and CPU are minimal, the extra RAM is critical!!

If your version is retail and registered (where did you buy it?), then go to the following link and install the latest build (1129b):
http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/support/powerdirector/patches_en_US.html
You may also want to download the new contentpack #1:
http://download.cyberlink.com/ftpdload/patch/PowerDirector/10/Content_Pack_GM3/CyberLink_PowerDirector_Content_Pack_Downloader.exe

The DELUXE version is not a native 64BIT application and does not include support for all types of HD files. Someone with this Deluxe version can tell you more..I use ULTRA as it is 64BIT! There may even be some issues with the Deluxe version on 64BIT machines..someone??? Comment??
