Hi there,

I wondered about these versions listed in the download area since a few days.

PowerDVD 6.5, PowerDVD 6.6, PowerDVD 7.1, PowerDVD 7.2?

I have never heared about it. All these versions got an update to build number 3430 on Monday.

What are the major differences of 6.5 and 6.6 by contrast with 6.0?
What are the major differences of 7.1 and 7.2 by contrast with 7.0?
I can't find proper version comparison charts.

The only thing I know is that PowerDVD Ultra is version 7.3.

Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks in advance!

Hello,

PowerDVD 6.5/6.6: Use PowerDVD 6 kernel.
Both of these two versions are for OEM.
PowerDVD 6.5: For HDDVD.
PowerDVD 6.6: For Blu-ray disc.
PowerDVD 7.1/7.2: Use PowerDVD 7 kernel.
Both of these two versions are for OEM.
PowerDVD 7.1: For HDDVD.
PowerDVD 7.2: For Blu-ray disc.
