Jerry's when you open up PD 10 does it automatically log you into the internet ? If not...open up that gear shaped icon on upper part of the program at right, it opens up preferences...then go to director zone..and open up an account...that way, upon opening up PD 10 it logs onto the internet and the cyberlink website JoeVideo

Hi Joe,

Tried that still no go. I have never had PD automatically notify me of a patch, through PD8,9 or 10. I always have to download manually. My youtube channel====> http://www.youtube.com/user/relate2?feature=mhsn

Did you also notice the new content pack is over 1gig.

One good thing though is the new Cyberlink down loader was very fast at 2meg/sec instead of the normal 200K/sec My youtube channel====> http://www.youtube.com/user/relate2?feature=mhsn

I thought from Dafydd's post that the content pack included the new Holiday pack, but it appears it must be bought, or you get it included with a new purchase, rather than the Romance pack?

Sorry Barry,
I had to remove the url to the Holiday pack for technical reasons.

So, Sir,
do we buy the pack? The Holidays are upon us.
I am a little hesitant to buy it because there is no assurance it will work in PD11+, and if I move up, then I lose the use of the packs, maybe. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Hi Barry,
Tip: I have in the past used copy'n'paste, moving disc menus from one build to another.

As for the looking into the future, I'm off to buy a suitable glass ball to gaze into!

Right, I have video to edit.

The pack question in PD refers to any major change in architecture for 11 might mean previous plug-in packs might not work at all. But maybe I won't buy 11, after all, 10 is looking real good, I don't ever see moving up to the next version.
Of course I said the same thing while using 5,6,7,8,9... HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
