PD 9/3305 vs. PD 10/12

I'm getting ready to do eight major video projects with PowerDirector. I have PD 9 with the 6th upgrade - 3305. I want to maximize my time working on the videos versus fighting with PowerDirector (who doesn't). The videos will have multiple video tracks + text + sound overlays, but no 3D. Here's an example: http://www.youtube.com/v/EAdJ-ui1SOM. Which version of PD will optimize my time (or to put it another way, which is worse) -- PD9/3305 or PD10/12? (excluding a gob of "work arounds")

Thanks!

PD 3305 is a killer NLE, PD1012 is a work in progress.
My opinion, others may differ. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

I'm just waiting for the next patch to re-install, I kinda liked 10, it's 9 on steroids, they need to fix a few things.
Shoulda listened to Bubba, though.
Cyberlink should really rethink the upgrade policy, it's ridiculous really, once you write the software, what's the difference?

I'm quite in favour of PD10. One of the pleasures I now have using it is my Sanyo 1080 60fps mp4's can use the SVRT capability. On all previous builds including PD9 mp4's and mov's were excluded.

For example if you have a Sanyo with a capability of capturing 720p 60fps mp4's then that now can use Intelligent SVRT in PD10, where as PD9 couldn't.

Panasonic editors with there different mts files can also benefit from Intelligent SVRT.

I don't disagree with Barry about there being issues which need fixing. There are a few and I came across some last night which haven't been mentioned on this forum! PD9 is not as good as PD10... even with the irks and squeaks PD10 has.

Others may differ, but I'm chuffed with SVRT for my mp4's.

Thanks for the feedback!

What are the "show stoppers" in PD 10/12 (or is there a bug list somewhere on this forum)? Does the "tracks get out of sync" issue still exisit in PD10/12? Has the processing of transitions been streamlined (both in editing and rendering)?

Also, Barry, I'm not familiar with NLE. Is "PD 3305 is a killer NLE" a good thing or a bad thing?

Thanks!

NLE, non-linear editor,
...in other words any video editing system that does not require scissors, glue, tape, and a bright light.
Also, in this matter, "killer" is very good.
