I've been editing 720p/30fps videos with PowerDirector10 with no problems. But when I try to edit a video shot at 720p 60fps, PowerDirector10 stops responding. Is 60fps not supported?

Hi,
60fps is supported. The problem is likely to lie with your computer spec.

Please provide more details:
1. 5 to 10 second video sample, unedited
2. State the video source, camera/make model
3. Answer Part A & B found in the guide
http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/7958.page

Members will then be able to best direct you and what you can do.

Thanks for the reply, Dafydd.

I have since been able to edit the 60fps file, after shutting down the software, and rebooting the machine. Apparently some temporary anomaly. If the problem recurs I will post the troubleshooting info.

I've run the DXDIAG and 64-bit DXDIAG and no problems were found.

**NOTICE**
When you are asked to provide a DXDIAG you go the following link and do part "B". Your posted specs are NOT what we are looking for as they tell us nothing. The specs on the box of your computer mean nothing. The DXDIAG shows us how your computer is configured as it runs.

I've tried edting some 1080p60 clips recorded from a Panasonic TM700.

Despite being limited to a 30fps timeline, you can still select a custom H264 output profile, and output back to 1080p60 H264. The rendered output preserved all frames (i.e. it didn't internally downconvert to 30fps, and the play each of those frames twice.) The only issue is the bitrate-cap in PowerDirector10's dialog-box ... the maximum allowed is 22.5Mbps, which is somewhat short of the 28Mbps allowed by AVCHD2.

What's even better, is that SVRT worked with the TM700 clips... at least for the simple text-titling operations I tried.
