PD 3305 update messed up MPEG-2 encoding

I've started this thread as I raised this issue at the end of another thread where it was a bit off-topic and will probably go un-noticed:-

In the earlier thread I was advised that there was a much later build (3305, my current build was 2330) so I downloaded and installed the patch. That turned out to be a big mistake! Afterwards the MPEG-2 I produced from my latest project showed the classic signs of frame order reversal when I played it back in Media Player.

To check, I produced a new MPEG-2 from an older project, saved into a temporary folder, then compared the old MPEG with the new one and sure enough the older one was ok and the new one frame-reversed. In all cases I was using the default MPEG-2 profile.

I've since de-installed Powerdirector and re-installed the earlier build from the CD which has cured the problem.

This seems a very strange fault so I wonder if anyone else has seen this.
