Hi,

My information is that CL are aware of the current limitation relating to "transparency/opacity" of nested projects and are looking to enhance the functionality of nested projects in this area.

Cheers

The PD Mod suggested a workaround for using nested projects that are to be overlaid onto content on the main project timeline.

Basically, you'd copy the content from the nested project and paste it on the main project's timeline.

In this case, think of the nested project as really just a container for the extra content, and you'll have to remove the content from the container if you want it to fully mix and intereact with the main project content.

Steps are:

  1. Enter the nested project, copy the contents, return to the main project

  2. Paste the contents of the nested project to your chosen track(s)

  3. Re-align etc.

  4. Delete the now redundant nested project

No changes are needed if the nested project content doesn't overlay or need to directly interact with the main project content.
