Sorry about that. I was going to paste in the BD Advisor panel, where, after a scan, it showed the below radio button as red.

I have just downloaded Slysoft ANYDVD.
Unitl Cyberlink can get their crap sorted, its well worth it.
Thanks for the heads up Shawn and don. AnyDVD works a treat.

The error message sends you on a wild goose chase!..............
In my case the error had nothing to do with using a digital signal !!!!!
If you are running 2 screens in "clone" mode then simply switch that off so that the signal only goes to the screen you want.
