The reason I mentioned zipping was because I didn't know the size of the files. If they were big, it might have been a good idea to zip them.
I have to check out the files you have mentioned, and see if I'm able to find them and send them to a friend of mine.
Hi, Rune!
It's quite easy to find out how big a file is, whatever the file type might be. In this case it's templates for particle objects or transitions(or anything else you may wish to share). When you've located what you want to send via email, if you need to send a folder-full of content, right-click on the folder and go to "properties". The total file size of all the components together will be shown and you can gauge for yourself whether you need to zip them or not. Probably safest to zip if you need to, if the file size exceeds 2.5 megabytes, but it really depends on how large a file you can send via your email service. This can vary markedly between different providers of such services. It can't hurt to check that out
before you find out how large the file size is on the template you want to send. The total file size for each transition I sent was well inside the range for what I could send. I'll toy around with zipping at some future stage, to get the hang of the process, so-to-speak, then I'll reserve the process for anything where the file size is too large to send any other way.
Cheers!
Neil.
