I've been thinking the same thing after I saw/heard the "Garage Band" demo for my iPad, incredibly good music! There again, the guy knew what he was doing so it can't be that easy, fun trying though I just want to edit and make pictures, walk my dog and go fishing.

Yes, it would. But then YouTube has its own background music solution. It's just that you can't have any commentary.

Why can't you have any commentary? If you're recording your own narration(as you shoot the video, or afterwards when you're editing) then on-one has a right to tell you that you can't have your own commentary! That's being extremely dictatorial!

After many months, I've now been given a You Tube "Claims to dispute" for "ilovemedia-es-Lively Piano-5505", sound recording administered by: AdRev for Rights Holder ! I didn't even know that was the name of the music that Cyberlink supplied, maybe it would be a good idea if all the supplied music had a credit.
Interestingly enough, the claimant has declared that I can continue using their music if I agree to their Advertisement plastered over my video, the cheek of it!
I made a short video with PowerDirector "Theme Designer" and used the default music that Cyberlink provides.
I've just submitted a Dispute claim form so hopefully all will be well !!
