Previous retail build (1_CyberLink_PowerDirector13_Ultra_VDE140912-01) has some issues.

Yes, did you open the program and did it give you the option to update? It should have unless you shut it off.

There are no updates for trial software; there may be the latest build as the newest update for the trial software (what you don;tload today is the latest).

Did you go here? http://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdirector-ultra/patches_en_AU.html

Also go to the top of this page and click on downloads. One of the options is "Software Updates" Go there for updates if thew program doesn;t offer the update.

Did that help?

You've completely missed my point. Please read my questions again.

2408 is the latest update-build available.
I believe it is available for purchase, but even if it's just the update, you can buy the program and download the update, then you'll have it.
Please know that trials are not full versions, nor are they update-able, nor will they accept a key. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Hello guys; problem with PD 13 ultimate build 2408 , in creating blu ray 3D. viewing the blu ray 3d (h264/ 1920x1080 24p, dolby 5.1, 3D BD), it seems that the video is jerky (sacadated) is not fluent. The video is produced with Panasonic Z10000.
I produced a blu ray 3D with other computer and it's the same result; the 3d video is sacadated/jerky. I used PD 12 ultimate and the same result; if i create 2D blu ray the video is ok; i wach a lot of 3d movies and i don't have problems with the image; mybe the video nvidia driver? please investigate.

Something is very wrong because the original video is ok, viewing with windows media player is smooth, fluent but view with Power DVD 13 or 14 is the same jerky, it's like some frames are missing... if i lower the resolution of the 3D TV from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 the video is not so jerky ... anyway viewing on Samsung 3d player with my samsung 3d Tv the 3d blu ray created with pd 13 is sacadated/jerky.

Eull,
although related to 2408, I think you would be better served by starting a new topic we can focus on, just for you. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

A few days before, I bought PowerDirector 13 Ultra and downloaded the installer (1_CyberLink_PowerDirector13_Ultra_VDE140912-01) from the link that was provided to me in an e-mail. This build has an issue that I already have reported to CyberLink Support. I tried the trial build (PowerDirector_2408_GM4_Trial_Trial_VDE141215-02) and that does not have that issue. So I wanted to know if the VDE141215-02 build is available in retail.

UPDATE: My original video file is 1920x1080 50i 3D at 24 mb/sec multi view coding.
The CRATE DISK, blu ray 3d setings in PD 13 are: 1920x1080 24p so the conclusion is 1 frame / video file is droped, beacause i don't have 25p or 50 i at the settings ...

Any solutions? thanks

Please note: This thread is to inform members a new patch has been released. A few senior members have posted here to reference the patch update or missing parts compared to the beta which is fine and fully acceptable. This topic/thread is NOT to be hijacked for off topic questions. Start/post your own new topic.

enull, S Malik, please post your issue as a new topic on the forum and NOT here.

I'm at build 2408 and have issues with clips being "black" in preview mode. Using "Modify" to an image or clip and resetting the opacity fixes the problem, but it's sure annoying.

After downloading the PowerDirector13 v2408 patch, it has been a few days before I could find time to do any editing. So far the only trouble I've had has been that some of the "buttons" on the PD13 User Interface keep disappearing after editing only to re-appear if I move the mouse over where the "buttons" should be If I close PD down the re-launch, everything appears again, then the whole process starts once more. I've been too busy at work to spend too much time on it!

I think I'll get rid of the Beta version and re-load the older version!

Any ideas ?

Cheers

The missing UI has been an issue for a long long time now. I'm SHOCKED, SHOCKED I say, that you've not had this happen before.
Minimizing the UI, or clicking on another module (edit, produce, create disc), and returning to your previous editing task, will bring it back. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Hi Barry, thank you for your reply.

Yeah, I have seen the odd, tiny bit of the PD13 screen go awol ... but not most of the screen You are correct in that it is easily replaced(!) but it's always a worry when something happens thats not supposed to

Lets hope for some good improvements in 2115

Well, CL claimed to have fixed the long time UI redraw issue with release 2408, they obviously fell short.

Hi Kyle40,
CyberLink would like to have your diagnostic data. Please see Part B in the guide, http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/40225.page They're investigating.

Barry, If you can provide info for CyberLink, diagnostic data of your system where the issue occurs, they would also like that.

Jeff, I passed on your observation yesterday

Good afternoon!
I would like to receive the developers of the program the answer to one question. Why, after recoding the image is too bright compared to the original? In version 12, the illumination does not occur. Image enhancement function is not used.

> -Fixes the issue that PowerDirector stops working when using M2TS clips in the Theme Designer.

This still happens.
If i have made a movie with theme designer and save it then everything is ok.
If I want to edit afterwards it still is ok.

If i want to save then the system crashes at the end of saving.

Any ideas?
