I purchased this pd12 ultimate 1 month ago, i had a windows7 with 3.70Ghz 8G ram nvidia Geforce 640, i had this pre render problem, then i thought updating to 64 bit windows 8 will fix, but now is worse, i send to the support all the details they want, includes my PD12 ode. Please do a solution for this pre rendering issue, if the nvidia is the problem make a patch and your costumer like us will continue your product.

I had the issue with 331.82, not with the x.58 drivers. Now the patch seems to have fixed it. LEts hope I can also produce movies, because thats an issue with my setup (why I don't know).

I do have the problem with Power Director 11 and 12 crashing while rendering. What is the best procedure to roll back the NVidia driver?
Thanks for any feedback

Probably easiest to go to this page:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
and install 331.58 or earlier. You may have to uninstall your current driver first.

I had some serious issues with drivers in the 331 series, but not related to PD. The whole system was freezing for 30 seconds at a time - no mouse pointer - in all applications, repeatedly.
This was a regression in nVidia drivers.

The 331.93 beta drivers resolved that freezing issue, fortunately.

From past experience, the drivers should be updated only if there is a fix or new feature you need. There have been many regressions in nVidia drivers over the years. If it's not broken, don't fix it ... MSI X99A Raider

Hi,

Enable Intel Quick Sync Video worked 12 times to convert video to 1920x1080, but after that .
"Production unsuccessful. Please ensure your graphics card driver is up-to-date, and update to the latest version of Windows Media Player or QuickTime software. You can also try to output the production in a different video format."

When do you fix this bug? I need to reinstall the software again and again or just use software rendering it is not what we accept from the sotware.

Ps. I tried the latest 2420 update, but it is still an issue.

Kind regards,

Lajos

This issue should now be resolved.
Visit: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/31296.page

Apply latest patch with latest Nvidia driver.
