Just to note with this crashing issue, I think I found a reason for mine and that was when ever I clicked on the NewBlue IV folder it crashed. I just un-installed a lot of NewBlue and it seems a little bit more stable now. I'll create a support ticket with NewBlue and Cyberlink on this.

I'll let you know if I have further issues on this error.

Just something to consider.

Quote: My installation did not ask me to un-install PD11, is that why I may be getting crashes and frozen screens even after I applied the patch.

(Back on the main issue of crashing)

Hi Stephen (from Stephen) :

Some of the issue (I call it threadjacking) may be held over from the old bulletin boards where one thread would have a long list of entries covering approximately the same issue (but not exactly). The newer forums no longer have a restriction on the number of topics that can be posted. Please make use of that opportunity.

The persons who originally started this thread had crashing (yes) and he posted a error code related to that. Do you have that exact same error code? If not, please start your own thread as Dafydd asked. As he said, your post may disappear because it is of no help to the original poster; you did not even list an error code that you encountered.

By the way, I installed 12 over 11 and have no issues with it. Start a new thread and you may get better and more direct help for you. Please provide the information asked for in the linked page if you really want help.
